Care Package for June 23, 2019

Care Packages through the end of June are a celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month. I know it’s not much, but I want to put as much support as I could into the world, and this seemed like a good way to add a bit more. Happy Pride Month.

Christopher Park in Manhattan is included as part of Stonewall’s National Register of Historic Places designation. The park has been a gathering place for LGBTQ youth since before the Stonewall uprising. Hundreds of people filled the park a month after Stonewall as part of a rally to protest the actions of police during the uprising.
