Care Packages through the end of June are a celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month. I know it’s not much, but I want to put as much support as I could into the world, and this seemed like a good way to add a bit more. Happy Pride Month.

Travel/History: All the entries here through the end of June come from nyclgbsites.org, an excellent website that documents the historical and cultural locations in New York City that are associated with the LGBTQ community.

In 1989, the New York Stock Exchange was the site of two protests held by ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) to call for a lower price for AZT, an AIDS treatment unavailable to a majority of those infected with HIV due to its high price.
