SOMETHING FOR THE EDUCATORS OUT THERE: Self-Compassionate Teaching: Putting On Your Mask First

Self-care gets a lot of lip service these days, especially in the education field. Unfortunately, this usually amounts to superficial actions that don’t really get at the hard work we need to do to actually care for ourselves. Self-compassion, on the other hand, requires actual self-care, and can become a vital part of not just your teaching practice, but your life in general. This is wonderful stuff.
